Chris, you're right....!!

It was black sealant...not solder...pulled 'em, swapped 'em....instantaneous improvement...the sub is now "there" when it is supposed to be. It is not a BOOMER sub, but will do for these ears nicely......

Easiest fix I ever had...even if I was stymied on the sealant looking like solder for a bit.

Chris, Swaped wires on kicker,Now Ac/Dc sounds the way it sould!Thanks I left the center as is .

Did the Kicker subs all get wired "out of phase" from the factory? I'll have to try this on Dad's SRT8 and see if he notices a difference.....

I've got the sound group II in my 300C and I was thinking all along it was kinda dumb to have that center speaker but I figured it would be a royal pain to disconnect it. Now that I know how easy it is I'll have to give this "mod" a try too!
