indash unit

wow how did he do this? i want to get the eclpise AV8533 double din touch screen unit cuz i hate the flip out unit, but how did he make it fit so perfect?

it will fit like that with a stock dash bezel from a 300 without nav I believe. The little black "ears" on either side is where the knobs for the stock radio were.

No double din will fit exactly in a 300. To get that to fit you have to get some small modifications done to your bezel.

I have a similar set up with my Kenwood... Just my opinion the one bezel with nav looks way better than the one with the 2 half circles on the sides... That looks cheesy to me.

Mine needs work, and would look better if it were more one piece looking, but the labor would be a few hundred to glass it in...

Nice install Pixel. I was thinking about putting in the new Alpine IVA-W200 when it comes out. Is your bezel the standard navi bezel? What trim kit did you use or was it custom made? I like the Chrysler symbol you used on the trim, nice touch.

Do the functions on the steering wheel still work for the new indash you have installed? Or you just made the sacrafic and went without that function?
And this question it to all who have done this mod.

when you add an aftermarket unit the steerin wheel controls are gone! HOWEVER! they just came out with a unit that will make ur controls work with your aftermarket unit


i have it in my car for my panasonic unit. there is a little transmitter infront of my shifter that send the signal to the unit.. like a remote control would
