Cell Phone Stand for TREO 650

I hope that I am posting this situation in the right place. I was one of the unlucky ones that didn't think that I needed UCONNECT when I first brought my 300C. After hours of kicking myself I am now faced with finding a solution for my cell phone that's attractive and neat. I typically wear a Bluetooth earpiece so I am not concern about car noise or mics. I am concerned about my expensive phone flying around the inner cabin when I have to make a sudden stop behind a Honda Civic If there are any Palm TREO owners out there please share your solution with me. Trying to pick up a phone off of the floor and drive at the same time can be dangerous.

Thanks. It's a good solution only if I did not have to screen some of my calls. It does solve the moving around the cabin issue. I was hoping for a mounted solution that all I would have to do is look down see who was call and tap my wireless earpiece. In the case in the driver's door handle is good for those of us not being hounded by Headhunters and Stock Brokers

Although I do have Uconnect, I still needed a solution to hold the phone in place as you can't pair both an earpiece and the uconnect system at the same time. (At least on my phone you can't) So I need to use the speakerphone to pick up my voice instead of an earpiece.

I use Verizon and they make a universal phone stand that fits in the drink holder. I don't eat or drink in my car (except water) so I don't use the drink holders anyway.

It's desinged to fit just about any phone (unless you have a wide body phone with a qwerty keyboard) and it allows me to speak normally as the speakerphone is pointing to the top of the car when I have it in the cradle. Better yet, it makes using the power outlet in the center console a breeze as the cable exits the notch and goes right into the phone.

It's cheap (about 20 bucks) and works like a champ. I am spoiled because Uconnect displays either the number on the EVIC (unless restricted) or the caller if you have them in your Uconnect address book if I want to screen.

My .02
