Opinions on my setup?

I just got my car and will be installing my Car Pc in my 300c. I was able to get the dealer to throw in the NAV bezel so I can install my 7-inch touch screen. I would like to get some opinions/ideas and hopefully share some of mine.

1. Speakers
Mid-bass speakers: both door and rear deck
4 - Morel 6-inch midbass woofers - the best speaker I have ever heard...

Specifications:
Power handling: 180 watts RMS/240 watts max
Impedance: 8 ohms
Frequency range: 20-5,000 Hz
SPL: 88 dB 1W/1m
Vas: .60 cu. ft. *Qms: 1.66 *Qes: .46 *Qts: .36 *Xmax: 4.25mm Dimensions: A: 6-5/16", B: 5-5/8", C: 2-1/2".

8ohms yes, but I would run them as 2 channels R/L bringing it down to 4 ohms. I do not like fader settings anyway. I will be using a bridged Alpine V12 MRV-F540 amp running 200X2 at 4ohm with low pass crossover set at 3000 Hz

Nevertheless, what in the world to I replace the 3.5 in dash speakers with? I was considering just leaving them alone and not use them. I usually run a pair of Pioneer ODR Tweeters on the surface of the dash with high pass set at 3000 Hz. However, I am open to suggestions.

Sub:
I would like to get the 22elite sub enclosure but I have a Premier TH-5000SPL sub that is way too deep for that enclosure. Any recommendations for a 12-inch sub that will fit the enclosure? I will be powering the sub with an Earthquake PHD3 mono amp.

The sound processor will be coming from a digital soundcard from the Car PC.

In addition, to power the entire set up I will be looking at bolt on alternator upgrades. I would like to get a 200-amp alternator to min voltage fluctuations and a SP1700 battery to handle the additional amps.

Thanks and I love the 300c!

A couple of thoughts.

I would get component speakers instead of hooking up two different types of speakers with no crossovers. Radio and amp crossovers are good, but nothing like one that comes with a component set. It is tuned specifically for those speakers and will sound much cleaner and crisper. My suggestion here is what I have, Polk Momo, they are CLEAN and can still out match my 2 subs. To your second question about the sub, I am not sure how deep the enclosure is, but I ahve alpine type r 12s and they are great. They are clean, but yet still provide plenty of punch. Just a suggestion to look into. But definately go with a component set and put the tweeters on the dash. It really helps the sound staging and the sound doesnt get lost in the bass which will happen sometimes

For proper stereo separation of your front speakers you'll want to simply disconnect the center speaker at the speaker assembly itself.

Thus if you do decide to replace the front speakers, you'll only need two, not three.
