Does anyone have experience using this product or a similar one in their 300? That seems like a lot of coin for what appears to be a digital equalizer. I would only buy that product if it came with a money back guarantee of satisfaction. If Crutchfield gives you this guarantee, you have nothing to lose.

It is also a summing device, and allows input of external devices....lots of control in v2 version.

but what you dont understand is that it works just like the cleansweep...and you have to change the volume with the supplied knob...you cant use your head unit or the steering wheel volume knobs...worst is that your going to drop 600 on it....i would do some searching on the audio control Lc8..

Is the 300C change equalization with volume levels? If so you will have to use the supplied knob.

Even though its $600, you have to understand what you are buying here.

31 band equalizer
Audiocontrol LC6/LC8 (with summing)
JL Audio Cleansweep
Variable crossover network
Auxillary input (for your IPODs etc)

All rolled in one chassis. That is a bargain considering if you tried to buy this stuff separately. And the do have the 3sixty.1 which does not have the crazy EQ.

However both benefit from the bluetooth connections. I am seriously considering this unit.

Honestly, bang for the buck... I think I'll just stick with the LC8.

Hell, for $600, it better come with a free tank of gas.

I knew it had external volume control, but I would set it and forget it...and then use OEM controls. Even it if increases OEM EQ settings, the cleansweep or 360 flatten it out prior to going to amps

With the LC8 only, you still need to flatten signal prior to going to aftermarket amps.

$600 is a lot and you still have to buy an IPAQ device to operate it, but I am not as concerned about cost as I am about having it done right.

From reading through the 3Sixty.2 manual, the remote volume control is programmable and can be used as a Master Volume control or a Subwoofer Level control. Pressing on the knob selects the Aux In.

This leads me to believe that for normal use, your head unit volume control will still work as designed and you would use the remote control to adjust your sub level.
