NAV and VES mod

Just finished putting everything back together. Everything went pretty smooth thanks to the great writeups by jhelmuth and hemiwagn. Dom's instructions need some help.

I ordered th CAR-3 unit from Dom. Did the mod to the NAV unit myself. Hooked up the VES(rear DVD) and now I can watch DVDs on the NAV unit.

I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with the 2 input yet. camera, xbox other??

Thanks again to all who contributed to the writeups

off to watch a movie now

Since you have an SRT I suggest a front view camera so you can see the curbs that can screw up our front air dams.

I have considered this. Does anyone have any camera recommendations?

I've also thought about a windshield camera that records. Anyone know of these?

An Infrared camera for night, would be cool... The nav display is a bit far out of the line of sight, but it's still better than nothing.

You mean like this? This is simply a Back-Up camera installed in the air dam. The only catch is you HAVE TO get one that allows you to reverse the image. Back-Up cameras come with the image reversed. You have to reverse the reverse image if you don't want your front image reversed. Got it?
