Whats needed for AUX port to iPod?

I see that 300C's have an AUX port on the dash with a plug-in hole. I was wondering what was needed to go from an iPod to the AUX port. I'm trying to get my iPod to work in my car, but I don't want to run it through an FM transmitter, becuase the music is quite distorted and the sound quality is no good imo. Can anyone help me with what I need?

Do you think you'd be able to just plug that into the headphone jack of the iPod, then plug the other end into the AUX port on the dash, and set the head unit on AUX mode, then the iPod should play, correct maybe? Or am I completely off?

so out of curiosity, why is everyone spending 150+ dollars to get CD quality to their ipod through the stock stereo, if this works fine?

If you have rear video you can get an adaptor for the inputs on the video unit, if not you will need an FM modulator until Mopar or someone else develops an Ipod integration kit for those radios.
