300C HE Sub Volume ?

I've had my 300C HE for a little over a week now, and I am very happy with it except for the stock audio sound, specifically the low end volume (sub).
I have the bass all the way up and just do not get the low end I am used to. I've read pretty much all the posts here, hope I haven't overlooked this question.
Is there an adjustment on the amplifier to boost the sub volume? Just to clarify, I have the stock HE system (7 BA/SUB, non-Nav, 6 CD changer, with Rear Seat Entertainment Video sys with SAT Radio).
I really don't have the money now to take it to a pro audio shop right now, so just looking for cheaper solutions.
I have my old sub box and amp I removed from my old (trade-in) car, just not sure how it would sound in the trunk with seats up.
Thanks, Bill -

I have the BA7 in my car (non HE but same system) and the sub seems very, very, VERY weak IMO. It only fires on low ranges and even then, it almost muted in the front of the car. Good news is it's not your car, bad news is, it's everyone's BA7 cars.

I don't know what kind of BOOM you're wanting, but I think the H.E. system sounds great! It's got all the bass I want for symphonic type sound with rich bass... but you're right it's not going to rattle windows in the house next door.

But me... I don't want that.

The H.E. system is WAY BETTER than the stock system in the regular C!

I agree, but most seems to come from the front door panels, and not the subwoofer. Heck, my PC sub is much more powerful than the one in the BA7. Having said that, it's still the best factory system I've owned to date.

Probably nothing other than it came "stock" as part of the H.E. 28R group package... not as an option.

6 CD Changer AND cassette, integrated steering controls
(Sat Radio and NAV optional)
368W Amp with sub... so maybe it's a BA8... not really sure.

Nope, same system. They call it the BA7 but it is 7+sub oddly enough.
