O.E.M. alarm light flashing with engine running

Has anybody noticed their alarm light flashing after cranking the engine? Mine does it every couple of months. After disarming the system via pressing the unlock button on the key, I crank the engine and the light starts to flash. The flashing is the only sympton (i.e., when disarming, I do not get the tell tale horn chirps that indicate the alarm has been activated prior to my returning to the car). So far, everytime a restart has "fixed" the situation.

I just reread the owner's manual section on the alarm and nothing seems to address this.

Anybody else? I hope I'm not the Lone Ranger.

Mods lacking from pure sorriness: window tinting, tail tints & interior lighting upgrades

Unresolved dilemma: I don't have UConnect

Complete satisfaction: 18" O.E.M. wheels
Minor bug : paying M.R.S.P.

I wonder if this is a remote start issue?? Maybe some people with remote start can chime in on this one. Just tossing out ideas.

I have a Viper remote start, and this just happened to me 2 days ago...I believe it was the first time...

I don't know what it is, but there has to be something to it.
