RAQ CD player acting up

I replaced my stock radio single CD player with a
RAQ radio/ six disc CD player (Chrysler unit, from ebay)
but it doe not seem to work right. I am hoping that I am
doing something wrong (tivial?).

The unit keeps ejecting the discs when I try to load them.
What is the proper procedure? During installation the power was obviously interrupted while swapping the
connectors in the back.
Thanks,
Gert

These units when shipped new in the box, are shipped with a bracket taped to the top side of the radio. This bracket holds the 6 disc changer in place during shipping. If shipped without it, good chance the deck is damaged. One bounce and that's all it takes (ever see UPS load a truck?). So odds are, you deck is toast. I'd send it back for an exchange or refund.
