Bluetooth Hands Free and UConnect

So it seems that everyone is very enthousiastic about the Uconnect? Ok indeed it works great, but . . . .everyone I call complains that they hardly can hear me! I have to bent over to the mirror or repeat everything i say more than once.

The quality of the mic seems to be very poor. Has anyone else experienced this? Or is my mic faulty, or is it my phone? Which is blackberry 8100 I believe and it works fine with other bluwetooth headsets.

I'm very interested to hear stories from others and am not sure if I should go back to the dealer or not?

I had problems with the Dash phone but my Blackberry 8800 (about 1 year old now) works just fine. My Uconnect is the aftermarket version that does not go through the mirror.

All phones will not work but you can check with the manufacturer directly and they will be able to tell you. Also they can send you updates for the phones as they come out. Here's the number....Beth Superfisky

2008 U connect works very well in comparison with 2006. More convenient to access, much better voice recognition, sound quality also has improved.
