Can you save different equalization settings to different radio stations? For example...preset 1 would be eq'd to more bass...preset 2 eq'd to more trebile etc. For different stations / music styles this would be a plus. Similar to GM radios with "Jazz"..."Talk"..."Pop" preset EQ's

On the screen saver; not that I'm aware of at this point in time. Someone will probably come up with a hack, though.

The equalization settings are static and don't get locked in with each station. Again, someone may hack that in the future.

With Sirius, the same occurs, but it's easy to revise by your steering wheel controls for each new channel.

I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of features in the stereo that comes with the GROUP II package w/NAV (the 380 watt, 8 speaker Boston Acoustics system).

An electronic 3 band equalizer and a fader/balance control. I had that in the 70's when I got my first car! I'd have expected some more advanced digital processing, sound field control, etc., and the ability to save profiles depending on source (FM/CD/SIRIUS).

Oh well. I can't even image tapping into the system and adding better stuff. It must be practically impossible!

Started the car this morning, radio's not on (left it on nite before). I couldn't get it to work but evic still displayed stations and modes thu steering wheel controls. Started car this afternoon and all's well. Maybe I'll turn the radio off before shutting car off just in case? Another time my auto lock feature didn't lock until around 30 mph. When it did the radio muted... couldn't get it to work until I hit the lock switch! (Remember Christine?...Thats what I'm naming her) :o (SGII, no nav.)

The power system on this car will shut itself down if there is a power on situation somewhere in it which exceeds 10 minutes or less, dependent upon what you set in the EVIC, Personal Settings. Not much need to turn off the radio unless you added something which bypasses that system.

Power auto lock has an adjustment speed for functioning, check the EVIC, Personal Settings. Dunno about the muting of the radio while the auto lock functions. That's not in the EVIC.

OTOH, you may have a glitch which needs a dealer's attention.

Why not take a good thorough look into the EVIC settings and ensure they are what you want, not what some dealer prep guy set for the hellofit?

Miles, the radio should have been on the next time I started the car, and the autolock was set at 15mph... I'd say glitch.

Yeah, I agree, but I go to any lengths myself to stay away from the dealer. :^))

Yes, there is from Mopar. Go to Buy/Sell category and check out some of them. Also, there is a Sirius Radio thread; please use Search. It will give you all the needed info.
