Had mine installed last month. It took them about 3 hours. The worst part of the whole thing was driving around in a Sebring they provides for me from Enterprise rental cars. Not a very pleasant ride in comparison.
Couldn't tell they had done anything to my car except for the new black hump on the rear roof line. No visual difference inside either. Nice and tidey , just the way I brought it in !

Just a suggestion , activate the Sirius while your at the dealership ! I set off on my 100 mile trip home from SanDiego expecting to listen to so new Sirius stations. I pull off the freeway to make the activation call on my cell. I give the serial #'s off the sticker from the receiver to the customer rep . No free 1 yr service ! Then I give the vin off my car. No free 1 yr service !! They are asking for a CODE !! This is an OEM unit I ordered at the time of purchase and dealer installed !! All of my paperwork states 1 yr. FREE SERVICE !!!! I get put on hold for 5 min. The rep comes back on the line and wants me to fax this to her . It's friday after 5pm , I'm pulled off the freeway and she wants me to fax it !
I put her on hold and call the dealership. The part and service mgrs have already left for the evening. No one knows anything about a CODE ? It should activate free from the #'s I gave the rep ! Ok I'm feeling screwed and can't straighten this out till MONDAY .
Bright and early Monday now and I'm calling Sirius, prepared for another round. The rep starts asking the same basic info question and comes to the #'s off the receiver. Silence for about a min. then I'm told I'm being sent a signal and should have it within the next few min!! Bingo, I've got Sirius !!!
Turns out I had the rep without a clue friday. Just didn't know what the hell to do and not smart enough to just ask somebody who does !

All is well now. Love the Sirius sound quality and station selection !

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with my dealer. Heck, last time I was in their electronic guru ask me if I wanted the wires on my aftermarket sub amp hidden (the installers didn’t route the wires under any carpet). When I picked the car up I was very surprised to find all the wires hidden very nicely and no charge for the labor

PS He tuned my amp as well and it sounds great!

Hooray, good news! So did you mount the antenna in the standard spot or someplace creative? I'd love to add Sirius, but that antenna on the top of my silver C has a STOP sign all over it for me... even paint-matched, I just can't get past it.

hey hamee,i said the same thing that i wasent gonna put it on the roof but on the bottom of the antenna there is this pice of metal that hangs down about 1/2 or so with the wire comming threw. that pice of metal passes threw the roof then gets bolted threw form inside to hold it in place whic kinda messes you up on setting the antenna on any thing flat.but one things for sure the look of the antenna on top back of roof dosent really look that bad compared to listening to the same'oll crapy music over and over again on the radio. imhop well worth the trade off

Well my old post got lost when the old Sirius thread took a crap. So I wanted to post a follow-up.

Here was the original problem. My sirius worked fine for about a month and then ne morning it was stuck on the preview channel. Channel 184. I called Sirius thinking there was a problem with my subscription. Over the span of 5 phone calls nothing worked and they told me to go back to the dealer to get it replaced. So for the hell of it I figured I would disconnect the battery in hopes of it doing some kind of reset. Well that worked! So if you ever find that you are stuck on a channel just disconnect the battery and then go through the reconnect procedure.
