Funny that you mention that, sirius sales people use that as sales pitch, the first thing they ask is, do you like H stern? because we have him and blah blah blah...

How often do the sales people actually tell anyone that it will be over a year before Stern is actually on Sirius? He won't be there until January 2006.

I have never talked to a sales rep. I saw Stern on david letterman or one of those shows. I get a kick out of his shows for some reason. I watch him on TV quite often.

NFL is a good addition, but I would use any...doesn't really bother me. I have over 6500 Mp3's that I will have in the vehicle on a onboard PC so no matter what between sirrus, Mp3, and FM/AM I think I can keep busy...plus CD's

You could push it up and hide it or drop it down for the display.

FWIW, I have XM in my YukonXL and Sirius in the 300C. I MUCH prefer XM over Sirius. The music channels on Sirius do way too much talking between songs and they just dropped CNN Headline news. XM gets better reception too.
I am having trouble finding the thread on the sunglass holder mounting thread. If anyone could post a link it would be appreciated.

Exclamation Does anyone here on the boards have XM Satellite Radio installed in their 300?

Hello again Gang!

Another question for the group. I was wondering, does anyone here on the boards have XM Satellite radio installed in their 300 or Magnum, rather than the Sirius satellite service? If so, do you have the Delphi SkyFi unit or did your dealer use the XM Direct hookup box? If a SkyFi system is used, where did you have the cradle that holds the control unit installed and how did it hook into the radio? Were there any problems taking the center radio bezel off and removing the radio to gain access to the hookups at the rear of the unit? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Happy Thanksgiving to all! I look foreward to be hearing from the gang with any input.

Sincerely yours,

Brian Carotenuto

A new 300 owner in waiting, from Delaware

No offense, but why would you want XM over Sirius? Just a subscriber wondering. The Sirius setup by Mopar parts is a nice setup and stays with the factory look. Plus I find the service itself outstanding.

I just got my Sirius hooked up Sat. Now my car is fully loaded! ( I don't count the block heater ) Anyway I tried to get them to give me the free year but to no avail.....I got 12 months for the price of 11 and free activation. One question my display says no signal yet my signal is crystal clear.
