Line Out Converter.

Hi all
I am new here and I am trying to connect a LOC to the head unit so I can connect my amp and sub. I am not sure how to connect the LOC wires to the head unit. Can anyone help? If you have pics please share...Thanks

I just tapped into the 6X9's in the rear. It sounds good, very good.

Yes, you need to tap into the speaker wires to the 6X9's to have a source for your line out converter. Then you need to wire your amp. Do a search for where to wire your remote wire. I just tapped into the accessory.

If your running an amp to power the subs, the rear is not a good idea. The highs are running to the rear and the lows are running the the front. I believe this only applies if your have the Boston setup.

Post Double check your sound group options

I saw a comment about no lows going to the rear. You need to
check to see if you have BA6 or BA8 (ie sound group I or II).

If you have sound group I (ie, 6 Boston Acoustic speakers), then
you are safe to tap into the rear speakers for adding a sub.

Hope it helps.

If you don't have the boston speakers then you should be in
the clear to tap the rear. Something else is wrong. Even
folks who've tapped the high incorrectly got sound, just not
enough bass.
