Ami the only one having voltage problems?

Yeah, Ive got 2 - Crossfire 1000d amps running a crossfire XTF 15"... 3Batteries in the trunk, including the factory... major dimming of lights... whats stupid is... i had a montero with 4 1000d's!!!! and 2 15's still 3 batteries, and no problems at all... and this alternator is 125, instead of the 105 on my montero... only conclusion i came up with is theres no battery in the front... so the alternator has to push voltage ALL the way to the back battery, and you lose power every foot of cable you have to go through... A stereo shop told me they replaced a 300c alternator with a re-wound 185amp alternator and ran Ot gauge under the car.. this supposively fixed the problem... is this the really what i gata do?

No opinions please.... only people who KNOW

the wiring that runs from the front to the rear of the car is huge. 4awg, probably bigger than that. if you lift up the forewardmost section of your trunk flooring you'll see it, just forward of the spare tire where it goes through a hard plastic gromet.

even though you've got batteries, a capacitor or two might be worth trying, just for good measure. millionbuy.com and etronics.com have cheap capacitors.

Read the sticky I put at the top of the audio forum on wire upgrades... dont blow your wad on a HO alt, the guys at ohio said the 300C alt is very efficient, but its too far from the battery for such a small gauge wire.

***** Disclaimer *****
This is only based off principals of electronics, and previous experience. My 300 is not finished yet and therefore has not been thoroughly hammered or even metered for loudness. However my last two shows with my last vehicle were 147.9dB & 144.5dB.... I just need to hit 150 and Ill quit I swear

You need to add some capacitance.

Your amps have very large power supplies which are an inductive load which shifts your power from "real" power to "reactive" power.
You counter induction with capacitance.

***Disclaimer***
My last vehicle hit 159dB.
