Here is a pic of my trunk install. It is alittle overboard maybe but you might get some ideas from it.

This one has the air tank in the pic!

This is one of the front trim panel. I did a but of plastic welding and smoothing to get a custom fit around the deck. When I built it there was no trim plate avail. at the time. I then color matched it in CV.

well... before you buy the clean sweep i would do some reading
on it...imop its not the way to go...if you are using the stock
head unit... look up audio control LC8..at least with this unit
you can still use your steering wheel controls..which you loose
with the cleansweep..but anyway you decide to go good luck..
heres a few pics of my set up...
hey rolln...sweet install..

I was just about to ask the same question. I'm in the market for some bass. Eh Rollin, that is one of the best set ups I've seen yet on a 300. Almost exactly what I had in mind, even down to the huge monitor in the trunk lid. Any problems with it being there? My plans are to keep the radio and interior speakers for now and only get the trunk done. I also have air, with the tank and pumps being in the spare tire well, but I have a 5 gallon C02 tank that still needs to be installed in the trunk. I'm trying to work it so I have some killer bass, but still room for the C02 tank. Lets see some more pix please.

Thumbs up

Not nearly as elaborate as the setups above, but it gets the job done:

here is my setup......I have a JL 500/1 running 2 12" JLW3's and a 300/4 running the JL components and rear 6x9's in the rear deck.......all recieving signal from the aforementioned Audiocontrol LC8 (in order to keep stock nav, nav voice and steering wheel control)

P.S. the wire in front of the pics is now tucked away......my box slid and crimped the first speaker wire.....this was a test wire to make sure that was the only problem!!!!

The amp boards were custom made to give a stock look......

I now have plans to try to make my own sloted/ported box that BIGBODY300 so generously configured for me!!!!!!!Most likely to happen in the spring time.......to see if I can squeeze out a tad more bass response.....

Thanks BIGBODY300!!!!!!

What is this LC8? What wont I be able to control with out it? I mean, doesn't the OEM stereo have bass control? And how does the steering wheel control come into play with the subs?
