Display clock as default

Has anyone figured out how to have the time displayed as the "default" without pressing the time button each time you want to change it over?

I dunno how to make the setting stick, (possibly a program hack?), but out of curiosity...why would you want the digital time displayed when you have that gorgeous analog clock holding the top spot in the dash?

I believe he is referring to the digital time display you can show within the radio display. Instead of displaying the station you are on, you can opt to display the time instead, thus displaying the time in analog and digital formats simultaneously.

"Why" someone would want to do this is beyond me. I hate taking anything away from the beautiful analog display they provided us with. I find it elegant.

I believe it has to do with the options settings. Choose small display, and it will show all the time. I replaced my stock Nav with and aftermarket setup. It was 8 months ago or so the last time I messed with it. Get into the settings and see if that is an option and give it a try.
