Need New Alternator?

Hey whats going on guys, I'm looking for some advice here. I recently upgraded my 300c with some serious car audio/video stuff. 6 tv's in total and a playstation 3, and also 1 amp and 2 subwoofers. The installer told me that i might need to replace my alternator in a month because it might burn out on me with all the current i'm using. I've noticed that my headlighting system is dimming a lot. I'm using the stock alternator and battery. What do you guys suggest that I do so i don't have this problem in the future. I don't mind spending the money to get the battery or alternator replaced. Just want to know if I should do both or just one.

Thanks for your help!

Definitely look at the big three.... and add better/more batteries. Call Gus at Ohio Generator and hound him about that HO Alt that was supposedly gonna be available soon, well at least thats what he said like six months ago

i'm keeping my stock alternator just because i'm still under warranty. i bought the extended warranty too, and i just know that if i got an aftermarket/modified stock alternator, that any electrical problem with the vehicle wouldn't be covered under warranty.

on my jeep, i had the engine computer (TCM, PCM, whatever you want to call it) along with the trans computer, eninge bay wire harness, and 11 oxygen sensors replaced, all under warranty. i bet i would have had to pay for all of that (about 3 grand worth of stuff) if i had an aftermarket/modified alternator in place.

check local alternator shops. there are a few still around, but they usually aren't in the best areas. get some feedback/reccomendations on who's good. i wouldn't trust something as important as an alternator to any average joe who says he can rebuild one.
