Factory Kicker Sub doesn't work. Any Ideas?

Was working in the trunk today and realized there was no sound coming out of the sub. I'v eonly had the car three weeks and I'm not sure it ever worked. Before I go running off to the dealer any ideas what to check first? I already hooked up another speaker to the lead to make sure it wasn't blown and still no sound.... What should I check?

Anybody know if there is supposed to be another plug on the back of the nav unit for the sub. There is a white receptical in the lower left corner that has nothing plugged into it. Any idea what that's for?

On current LX vehicles the sub gets is power from channel 7 on the 8 channel amp...if the sub uses a seperate amp as with the Kicker systems the seperate amp gets it signal from the same place.......

GOT IT!!! It's a 20amp fuse in the trunk that powers the amp only, If you have the factory sub take note it's Fuse #7. Don't know why it blew, probably when I was probing around with my test light for other stuff. In any case it's fixed and rocks again... Thanks all for the help.
By the way I took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. I found it on my own.
