That was an awesome find D's300C. XScash did a great job with the pictures and write-up..I could actually do this up to the part where you run the wire up through the seat part. I wish he showed that as well. I suppose fishtape would work for running the plug up?
Does it come up from all the way at the bottom of the seat?

wire coat hanger with padding on ends (as not tear seat) works best...

Wow, that DIY makes it look easy. I've also been wanting to do this mod and with how cheap you can get lcd's now it's actually feasible.

great cross-post.

i like the idea of using the factory head rests instead of the headrests you can buy that already have the screens built in. anyone ever seen how those fit? the post holes in the seatback aren't exactly upright. if you get the screens/headrests that come together and install them on your seats, the screen is pointed downward just a little bit. using the factory headrests makes the viewing angle better.
