pioneer avic d2 refurb-brilliant or stupid...

ive been looking at getting a pioneer double din i just dont know which one for sure i found a d2 which i like more what with the bigger motorized screen- factory refurbished for like 650 with 90day warranty i like it but i dont know about the refurbished part will it just crap out on me or are they usualy good about quality controll. if i dont get the refurb ima probably get the d3. let me know what you think

If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd rather spend a little more and buy NEW. Just my personal preference.

yeah imo.. im buying something new with a 1 - 2 year warranty...


but refurbished items actually go thru a lot more testing than new units do... if you do get a refurbished item, especially from pioneer... it will work just as good as something new... but its the warranty issue... especially being this item already was defective once.... go with new and save ur self the hassle of worrying

nice why is the d3 bettter i always thought it was a downgrade i know it dosent have a motorized face and a smaller screen but is there anything special about it or do you just mean its nicer than a refurb
