MP3 hookup to car radio

Hi Everyone,

New here to the forum so I should apologize now for any "dumb" questions. I recently purchased a 300C. On my car radio, I have a female plug that will allow me to hook up my mp3 player. I read the owner's manual, went to a local electronics store, purchase the correct wire and my mp3 player wouldn't play through my radio. It's not the battery, I switched my radio to AUX and completly followed the instructions so I'm a little stumped.

Any advice?

Thanks
Len

turn the volume up on your MP3 player

you are using the headphone jack as an interface and you need to turn the volume of the MP3 Player up to almost it's highest level to get the output of the MP3 player to the input of the car radio.
