Radio change help!

I just got a new RAK and got it installed in my car coz it supports the Ipod interface and I had to remove the RAR but the problem I am facing now is that I can't get the even number for the FM frequency can someone direct me to a way to get even numbers in FM on the RAK. BY the way I tried changing the country code on the starscan but no use and now I configured it to german coz I like getting the name of the radio channel on the display,On the RAR I used to get the channel info. when my country code was german plus even & odd FM frequencies. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Jamoleh,

For the NAV systems, does UAE use the REJ or REC versions? The reason I ask is that the physical tuners in those models are different. I'm not familiar with the RAR version, but I would guess that it is like the REJ with the Euro tuner and the RAK is a North American only version like the REC.

We don't have navigation radios at all here unless the car was direct import and still the nav. won't work coz there is no maps for the Middle East region.

Does anyone know if I can open up my RAR and get the tuner out and put it in the RAK would that get me the even numbered frequency on the FM?
