Any tricks to losing the "kicker" speaker in trunk?

My car came with the mighty "kicker" setup, which I really don't care about. To me, to make it sound sane, I have the bass shifted way way down right now. I'd like to just yank the speaker and gain the room in the trunk as well as the use of the cargo net.

Are there any 'gotchas' in this or is it as simple as just pulling the speaker (I assume there are screws holding it in; haven't looked that closely yet)?

Thanks!

Steve

Once i pull it out and everything sounds okay I'll either stick it on a shelf or give it to someone who would use it...I'll let you know Saturday after I pull it.

Well, one metric socket set later, the kicker is out...and the cargo net is in And it still sounds pretty good to me!
