suggestions on after market battery...

i have a 300 base model, and my audio set up currently is an alpine mrd-m1005 amplifier to push my 13" JL W6. i also have a kenwood KVT717 touch screen dvd player, and am thinking about adding an amplifier for my speakers (probably 75/4 watts). does anyone have a suggestion as to which after market battery i should get? my headlights dim very badly right now when my bass hits even though i have a 1 farad capacitor (i know its probably not enough for that amp). anyway, since my headlights dim now, i know it will only be worse when i add another amplifier, and also my low voltage lights illuminates on my gauges. soooooo what battery would you guys suggest i get? any help is appreciated. thanks

Honestly you should look into upgrading the alternator and the "Big 3" before you change the battery.

Search yahoo or the forum for Big 3 upgrade and you sill get a full how to on that.

As far a replacement battery, i would go with a Hawker-Odyssey (Mfgr for Stinger batteries) they make sick car batteries made for high power stereos.
Optima blue top batterys as referenced in the previous post arent bad at all either.

I have a Kinetic (spelling?) HC2200, 2200 cold cranking amps and comparable to 100 1 Farad Capacitors.. No dimming and I have left my DVD player on for 3 days and battery was still good as gold...

Has anyone upgraded the alternator and added a second switched battery in a 300? Not sure where it would go especially in a SRT.

I have read about those.. is the HC2200 a direct replacement for our stock batteries?

Hate to correct you Mr. I. but you must have a HC 2000.......Kinetik doesnt make a 2200, but it is 2200 amps.........and yes it is a direct replacement for the 300......I have them if anyone needs them.

I have left it on for hours at a time and it starts right up......one of the best things about the Kinetik Cells is that you can completely drain it and you can charge it back up to new with no problems.....unlike an Optima which is basically dead if you drain it.

You still on the forums? Looking for battery upgrade for '07 SRT8. Narrowed down to HC 2000 and Odyssey. Thoughts? What's your price on the HC 2000?
