Scratches on Navi Screen

I thought that I was lightly dusting off my navi screen but, a couple of scratches have been made. Very light scratches, which are visible only under specific lighting conditions. The scratches can not be felt. The presence of the scratches are an annoyance when sunlight hits the navi screen just right. Does anybody know how these scratches could be eliminated? Can the navi screen be replaced without replacing the whole factory-installed navi unit?

No clue, just think there are those who complain of not having a touch screen, imagine those scratches over a few years.

I know for PDA screens a product called Plexus is recommended. I used to use it on my PDA and made the screen silky smooth again.

I just got some Plexus this week for my clear bra, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

I have had a touch screen on a Lincoln LS but scratches was not an issue,
as the screen was glass. I prefer a navi system without a touch screen. I have found them less accurate or efficient to use than a navi system that uses a joystick. Joysticks select commands faster and are better to scroll across the map graphics. Selecting a particular location on screen map graphics is better with a joystick.

Nolmscheid and Johnny,

Thanks. Where can you get this Plexus? Auto parts store or some other type of store? Is this a liquid product that is applied to the navi screen?

I just bought pre-cut smoked protectant film from www.rockblocker.com, it included both headlights and the fogs for $49.95, I'll post when I have it installed. I got some Plexus to clean up the lights prior to the install...
