Desiree, no, nothing was cut... I just unplugged it... hmmm well, I live in Miami so I have less of a reason to use defroster than Wes does up in Daytona... but like he says, it gets in the 50's once in a while I actually use it on high humidity days and the window gets all foggy and humid. The defrosters gets the glass crystal clear very quickly...

Honestly, not that I am doubting any of you, this is the very first time in the 10 years I've been driving that I hear the defroster will not damage the tints... was it possible that maybe 10 years ago film was not as good? or defroster was hotter? why would I be told that at every place i've been to?
Maybe until the film cures they told you, but after it cures in a couple of weeks...no way!

I've tinted dozens of cars. Right over top of the defroster elements. Never had a problem. On the 300, if you use a metallic tint, you will lose most of your AM radio signal, though.
