Question Nav In-motion lock out/ Nav coversion to play DVD's

Hello all, I have a 2006 300c and I am looking to get rid of the in-motion lock out for Navigation. I also heard about converting the factory NAV to play DVD's and IPOD. Please help if you can. Thank you

Does anyone have the files that you need to change to get the nav hack to work on a 2006 C? Or do you know where I can get them?

I have the latest version of the nav-disk. (don't ask me what version I have... I checked what it was months ago when I bought the car... now I can't remember the version number, but I know it's the latest one.)

I've been searching but I can't find anything online.

I tried to contact Mr.i a week or so ago in his personal email, but I haven't heard back.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like Cueball gave you the correct information to do it from scratch..you might find a site to download the file from. There are members on the lxforums that can also make you copies of the hacked Nav disc, ensure they are making the hack from the most up to date version you have or higher.

The Nav DVD player can not play DVD's itself. You can use the Nav2Go hack to add on a DVD player and allow video to be played on your unit. Avelectronic also offer a budget and switch set up(awesome Svideo, tv tuner, rear cam, remote). Goodluck.
