These are from my last C the Vanilla one, and my new SRT the silver one... I had all JL in my last car, including a 3 ways component set in Front, rear 6.5s, 1 8W7 sub that I swapped for 2 12W3s then I changed to the ones in the picture which were 12w1s.

The amps I never changed, because in my eyes there were none better. I had a 450.4 (150x2 and 75x2) and then I had a 500.1 for the subs.

The 8W7 was mounted under the rear deck, and shot through the factory sub position that was cut to house the big 8" surround. I changed to the 2 12w1s because I wanted more bass.

The JL components were OK, they were too bright to me, and if I could suggest something, the DYNAUDIO speakers are some of the best I have ever heard, and owned. Amazing really... They make a 7" copmonent set and a 3 way with the midrange speaker that is silky smooth... They run over a grand easy for the set.

Here are some pics. Very basic in my new ride. 4" Kappas in the dash, and changed the kicker 10 to the Alpine 12

Fujitsu 10 Eclipse AVN 6000 DVD/SAT NAV head unit with remote control
iPod connection to 30GB 5th gen video ipod
8 inch Focal sub woofer in rear parcel rack (under OEM rear parcel carpet)
2 x Alpine 7 inch head rest screens with IR headsets
Alpine digital TV tuner
Twister F2 300 amp
custom bezel - "ears" fibreglassed and resprayed
steering wheel controls integrated
in door/ dash /rear parcel shelf speakers OEM Boston acoustics (will need to replace these - head unit too strong!)
dual drive head unit - two DVD/CD drives so you can have SAT NAV in front and DVD in back etc etc

SAT/NAV or radio or video iPod music or TV up front, TV or DVD or iPod video in the rear simultaneously.

The look I have gone for is to keep it as "stock" looking as possible: less theft risk and easier to strip out when it's time to upgrade the car. That being said I will be leaving the head unit in when it comes time to trade her in: technology leap frogs itself every 6 months anyway so by the time the lease is up in another year and half I have a perfect excuse to get a NEW toy! LOL!

I've got the following system in my car.

Pioneer DEH 980BT
Focal 165 KPS Components in the front with the tweeters in the factory dash location
Focal 690 CV1 speakers in the rear
Alpine PDX 4.100 powering the whole system

I'm still undecided about which subwoofers to get I'm comtemplating 2 12" JL Audio W6's or 2 10" JL Audio W7's
