power control wire hook up??

well i started my car the other day. and out of the blue, the stereo will not turn on. i had the kenwood ddx 6019 installed a month ago. so i pulled it all out. and found the blue/white wire out of the Head unit harness. was not attached to anything.

now that i am finally home from my trip, i looked in the installation instructions. and it says it is the power control wire. which sounds like the ignition remote wire.

so where do i hook this thing up to the CAN harness?? i dont have the installation instructions for that. and i cant seem to find a wire back there, that isnt already hooked to something.

after all the BS ive put up with from the shop that installed it. i dont really wanna go back. even for something as small as this.

I am shure this wire (since it comes OUT of the head unit) is for an electric antenna or other component that requires power to control it.

ic. so any idea what would be causing my problem then?? i just turned the car on like normal. and the screen wont light up. there is a small trianglular red light. it is flashing. and it is next to "ATT". since the light is flashing. im assuming there is power to the deck. all the fuses are good. and i cant see any other wires that are unhooked. so im out of ideas, if that isnt the remote wire??

You checked the fuse in the back of the deck too right? I blew mine and got an error message though.

If a light comes on, then it must have power. Maybe it's internal. Good luck

The blue/white wire doesnt need to be hooked up unless your running amplifiers or what not. Check the red and yellow wire which is acc and constant power, make sure there getting power.

turns out it was a loose wire somewhere. and it ended up frying the CAN module. so had to replace the module.
