Stock 6 disk CD unit questions:

I wondered if it makes any sense to replace this with an aftermarket unit?

Are there 6 disk in dash units that can be had after market?

-should I look to other ways too improve on the sound?

-I am not in need of a radical or massively expensive set up, and don't want to fill my trunk with Sub's

-I am taking the car in soon because since the day one the CD's have skipped intermitently, doesn't matter if I am parked or driving

-someone on this site suggested a cleaner for the unit which I did, to no avail

I'm on my second one, and still have issues with it either skipping intermittantly, or sometimes it won't read the cds...I think replacements are limited though, because of the size and shape of the unit. You may have to get an alpine with the indash tv and dvd...$2K
