TVandNav2Go Backup Camera wiring?

I have the tvandnav2go mod (great job Dom) and have installed it without any issues. I am now going to try to connect a backup camera and have a couple of questions. I generally can find all of my answers by searching the posts, however I could not find any information on the following:

1) I know I need to connect the blue wire from the Nav2go install to a "reverse wire" in the dash, so the Nav display automatically kicks on to the reverse camera whenever I put the car in reverse. Where is this wire in the dash/what is the best way to locate it?

2) I also know I should probably connect the 12v camera power into the reverse light by the back tail lights, is that as simple as finding the power line coming off of the reverse light and tapping into it right there? Or is there a better/simplier way?

3) Unrelated - If my cigratte lighter (in ashtray compartment) has no power to it and no fuses appear to be blow, what might be wrong, what is the best way to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I hooked my nav2go directly to the positive wire of the reverse bulb, there is a wire in the dash or kick but it was faster and easier just to run a wire to the trunk. I hooked the camera to switched +12 volts.
