Remote Start Question

First off, I did a search, maybe not a very good one, but I did. When you get the remote start installed from the factory, is it a key chain or do they work it into your existing key somehow? Just curious, thanks in advance for answers.

Tiny; I had a remote start installed at the dealership last Friday and it is a small fob attached hanging from the key. They told me the company made this unit for Chrysler. Not happy with the horn tooting each time you press the fob (twice) near a neighbor's bedroom window. Also the car dies when I get in and turn key to ON and touch the brake. SO, another trip to the dealership after Turkey Day.
