Need Help With Amp Install

I will be attempting to hook up an amplifier in my 300. My question is, what is the best way to hook up the remote wire from the fuse box in the trunk? Do I need to splice and solder? Can I hook up directly to the fuse? What color wires am I looking for? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Also as a second question, which wire is the power antenna wire?
