Help Mygig Upgrade 2008 300 SRT8!!!!!

I have a 2008 300 SRT8 and I have a problem hearing the voice prompts for the navigation. I've already turned up the volume on the navigation prompt and it shows that it is going up or down but it never gets any louder. Is there any update I need for this?? I've already take it to the dealer and they said they will try a software update on it first and if that doesn't work they will replace the head unit. Is there software I can try to upgrade and if so where do I find it? and how do I load it into the car ?? Thanks very much for any help anybody can give me.

This post by ResumeSpeed, although it deals with UConnect, mentions a software update - Bluetooth Hands Free and UConnect.

You may be able to contact someone here as well - HARMAN/BECKER Automotive Systems GmbH. They make the MyGig system.
