Wire colors, battery dis-connect?

forgive me if this is a double post, but i dont see wire colors anywhere in the car audio section of this forum. does anyone a have a diagram of the wires in the truck for car audio, im wanting to hook up a line convertor for rca's and would like to know which wires are which, also i have read all the post about remote wires, im going to try the C pillar line, has anyone else try this? and last since the battery is in the truck and i have to use a line convertor for rca's this means i dont have to run any wires from the front to the back. that is just awesome. LOVE MY 300C. oh, yeah should i dis-connect the battery while doing all this, and if so is there anything special that i have to do to reconnect. i have navigation? Thanks, in advance.

does anyone know of a website that has this info? i googled it but no help.
