My 2006 has no aux audio jack, why?

My owners manual talks about an auxillary jack on the base radio on the 2006. This thread: 2006 model 300 Series/Magnum: Confirmed new features and MSRP pricing says it comes standard on all 2006 radios. My 2006 300C doesnt have it. Any ideas before I complain to the dealer?

In a previous post I thought you had an 06 SRT8, How is it that the 06 C is released in April, I thought the 06 C was not due until Sept.

I do not have an SRT-8. Sorry for the confusion. I found that previous thread on a search. I have a basic 300C. it is a 2006, with no aux audio in.

A base 300C is pretty sweet, I think we assumesd you had an SRT8 b/c it was an 06 and no clue that the 06 was out. Maybe the audiojack is a late availability deal, you should be able to upgrade the radio through the dealer at little cost, or pick one up off this forum or ebay once people start pulling them to put in custom stereos.

2006 model year 300's hit the dealers this month, not September.

CubeDog, there is no such thing as a "basic 300C" - unless you live in Europe. The base model is a 300. Only in Europe do they call all the models including the V6's models 300C.

Right. When I say Base 300C I meant I didnt get the sound group, navigation, wood trim, etc.
