Volume changes on navigation voice

When driving the voice of the navigation person changes to a low volume, to the one(1) setting. I know how to reset the volume, it stays at the hegher volume for a while than resets to 1. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Mary Lakowicz

Mary,

welcome to the family!!!

1) You can preset the NAV volume.
2) Sometimes when turning the volume of the stereo you can accidently change the NAV volume. Stereo volume is white and NAV volume is blue.

Turn the volume knob when she is speaking to change her volume level, otherwise the knob will change the radio/cd/sat volume level.

Thank you all for your help. But I don't know what you mean by white and blue buttons? Thanks. Mary Lakowicz

No matter what knobs I turn, or buttons I push, I can't get that woman to go clean Rambit's house... and she's always telling me where to go!!!
Hmmm, come to think of it, where is that mute button....

Welcome to the board Mary!

Mary,

I am sorry I did not make it clear.
There are no buttons.

When you change the volume, there are indication bars on the screen.
When you are in NAV mode, you will see the word volume and increasing or decreasing bars(while changing the volume). The radio's volume on the screen is white and the NAV's volume is blue.

You can easily change both without knowing while the NAV is directing you.

While the NAV is talking you can change it's volume to the desire level.
