Just purchased this kit off of ebay. eBay Motors: 2005-2007 CHRYSLER 300/300C DIRECT iPOD INPUT +AUX CTRL (item 150215640324 end time Feb-22-08 2340 PST)

Cost $129 bucks and well worth it. UPS dropped it off at work on my lunch break so i went out to the car and had it up and running in only 5-10 minutes. You can control it through the steering wheel and everything. CD quaily sound for hardly anything. Dealer wanted $250 for the part. $325 installed....

Glad i went this route. Seller has many of these left so happy bidding!

Slick. Does this output any iPod data to the driver's info screen where the speedo is on the dash? I've got an iphone and if I use the 3.5mm mini plug on the stock Boston radio, when I get a call it routes it through the soundsystem...I wonder if this would do the same thing.

What data do you see on the Nav unit when you're using the IPOD? Do you get artist/track/song info?

Curious to know which Ipod you connected to the kit. I have 3 80 gb ipod classics and 1 30GB ipod classic.

I can only use the 80 GB unit if I have LESS than 1000 files on it. Once I go over 1000 files the communication between the ipod and steroe systems just sit's there says "communicating with ipod" or something similar like that.

If however I use the 30 GB I can have over 10K files on it and it works fine.

I have tried the other 80 gb unit and it too fails in the same manner.

All three units have the same code level. I have gone through chrysler, and apple and no help either way.

I would really like to know what you used and how mant files you have on it.
