TV / DVD in Headrest

Looking to buy 2 (two) TV DVD for the headrests. Does anyone have any experience with these? I have a pair in a 2002 Yukon installed 3 yrs ago and it sucks. Goes out when you hit a bump or roll up/down the windows. I paid around $1,200 back in 2005 and they are generic.
I want to put some in the Hemi cause they do come in handy for the kids on long road trips. I called a few local audio stores here in town and the average price seems to be around $1,600 for the TV's that have their own individual DVD's.
1) What is a good quality brand and recommended TV size?

2) Is it better to buy the headset replacement that comes with the TV installed or by the TV's separate?

3) What price is good to pay?

Going with a good set can run you from $650-$1600. I have the Vizualogic and I have nothing but good things to say about these monitors. You might want to check Ebay for a good deal.
