Where is the Bluetooth

I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 300C rear view mirror that 'has' bluetooth. I would like to modify this to fit my Cadillac as GM doesn't offer bluetooth.

Is the bluetooth receiver in the mirror itself? What else would I need to make this work?

the microphone is in the rearview mirror.

the bluetooth system in the 300C is called "uconnect". i'm relatively sure the wiring for mirror to the nav/radio is proprietary. i don't think it will work in another vehicle.

Won't work at all. The module is separate and the GM electronics and Daimler Chrysler electronics are totally different and won't "talk" to each other.

Just buy a Parrot kit or something similar
