MYGIG now works in older cars!

Just go to Mygig lockpick homepage and version 2 is out which has an adapter to work with older cars just to let the non 2008 and 2009 owners know. They updated alot of features with the version 2 and now I might order on for my Mygig.

MYGIG ADAPTER

Yeah but some people just like to keep everything factory, not to mention a beautiful word that you have lost touch with.. WARRANTY FTW!

uh.. nope... first off, the mygig is a different size that the REC, so it won't look factory or fit in the REC nav bezel.

second, you put the Mygig in your car, warranty wise is no different than aftermarket..

it did not come with the car, it was not made for the car, therefore it is NOT a warranty item, don't believe me, ask your dealer..

third.. my dealer has NEVER EVER denied me ANY warranty coverage because of my mods, including my sound system, as a matter of fact, I had an airbag issue and my dealer noted my service contract account that the sound system was NOT the cause of the issue and that the installation of the aftermarket radio was done CORRECTLY as NOT to effect other systems (in other words I did not CUT one single OEM wire, everything is plug and play with harnesses and connectors I made or purchased to plug into the stock wiring).

I have a 7/85 zero deductible service contract, and other than the radio everything is covered, the radio is not because it is aftermarket, but it is covered by Alpines 3 year limited warranty.. and yes I have had the GPS unit REPLACED under Alpines warranty, when the LCD went out..

so I have not lost touch with Warranty anything..

I know my rights, what my warranty/service contract covers and I know how to have my issues handled correctly by the dealer or otherwise.. without "voiding" said contract or warranty
