does anyone know if theyre planning on making the clock work at some point? I'm sure all it would take a is an internal clock in the harness with a battery and feed the info to the mygig as if it was coming from the car.

Kinda hope this gets fixed, its really the only thing holding me back from getting it at this point

Pull of the minus battery cable when changing the radio?

Hi.

Is it important to do or maybe not, to pull of the minus - battery cable when plugging in the Mygig Adapter for example?

I have talked to two different people at Coastal and they both said they are not working on the problem since it is a car design issue. I think it would be relatively easy to fix, but someone else will have to do it!

now, if they would just sort out the clock!

I think my splitter is bad. I got one from ebay and it worked for a couple of days, but now, whenever I am in sat mode, the evic flashes between no signal and the station.

For the Installaion the Lockpick adapter was plug and play and setting a couple of DIP switches(very easy).

AM/FM antenna wire adapted to MYGIG with supplied adapter.

Builtin Uconnect requires Microphone or some type of adapting of uconnect controls on mirror. I purchased plug and play microphone from Coastal for $20.

So the install is complete and the MYGIG is working. I haven't tested everything but here are results so far.

*Back up camera working
*Sat is working
*Nav is working(nav voice guidance has a bug that when the nav voice come on the radio volume from the right speaker gets a little loader and it could be diffucult to here the nav vioce. I was able to find a somewhat happy median but playing the all the volums adjustments, this could be drawback.
*Uconnect is working
*Steering wheel switches controls Vol, Change Modes, Change stations.

Disconnect the harness from the old uconnect module, it is mounted to passenger side kick panel behind the glove box. That should fix your problem.
