That would be awesome. $133 is better than 200. Plus I don't wanna give up my trim as a core!

Sorry to be a pain but this is taking a while since I didn't get my RER yet.
Where do I plug the SAT extension into? You can behind the top of the rear driver's seat. In the deck lid? By the inside quarter wall? I just can't find the connection and it's tight back there.

Sat extension would plug into where the old sat receiver is located. This would in the trunk on the drivers side quarter panel. Need to remove kicker sub and peel back trim. Here is pic of how I have the terk splitter mounted.

Thanks! I actually figured that one out myself. I got confused by something that was said in an earlier post.
I do have a couple more questions, though.
What wires do I splice into to get the audio from the VES. I already got the video.
Also, when I boot on the unit. It says to drive to a digitized road and won't show the map. Do I have to set something or is my antenna bad?
And where do you recommend splicing the wires for the ground, acc and constant from the adapter harness?

Ther was a large ans small connector that plugged into the old radio. You will be using the large connector to plg into the lockpick, the small connecttor has the sat and ves audio which is not used on the mygig radio. You need to splice 2 rca's on to 3 wires of the small connector, then connect these rca's to audio input of the lockpick.

The pin outs of the C2(small) connector are as follows:

Pin# 4(Dark Green/Light Blue Strip) - VES audio Right +(Center conductor of Right RCA cable)

Pin# 7(Gray/Dark Green Stripe) - VES audio Common - (wire the shield/ground of both RCA cables to this wire)

Pin# 8(Gray/Light Green Strip) - VES audio Left+(Center conductor of Left RCA cable)

As fr as driving to a digitilized road, you may need to simply drive to a road, I have seen this message if I'm in a parking lot to far from the road, once the GPS shows your on the road all should be good.

You shouldn't need to hookup any 12v or ground for the lockpick. it picks it up from the factory harness. If you run into problem give a ring I'm on vacation this week and just hanging at home.

Yeah, I figured that. Once I started driving it was okay.
So far I have the navigation working, the bluetooth Satelite and the VES working. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to get the auxilary working for my iPod. Any clue there?
Thanks again!!!

i dont think there's an extra aux in the lockpick for the ipod. you have one audio input and you used that for the VES.

The 3.5mm plug on the front is for connecting an ipod or MP3 player.
