what about is you unplugged the old sat receiver and then plugged it back in again, OR swap over the cables for the splitter, so the one going to the mygig now goes to the receiver.....just a thought! try plugging/unplugging until something happens!

I tried that.
Need to try it with out the second extension cable and maybe a seperate antenna...
I just spoke with Paul on the phone - he is currently boarding a plane right now, but he asked me to post on his behalf.
His solution is nothing shady. He isnt being selfish with this. His "source" has bound him to secrecy, hence nothing being posted on a public forum. He is talking to people about this privately, but cannot post the info publically.
Out of his own generosity he is making the solution available to the first 25 people on a first come first served basis, which he is personally funding. He wont and cannot take money for this, so understandably cannot finance this indefinitely.
Eventually the solution will be available to all, but for now, this solution is available BY PM ONLY (please PM Paul not me, im just the messenger!), and as of this morning there are only 5 more left.
He thanks you for your understanding.
I appreciate the explanation about the dilemma Paul has, but that creates a dilemma for us. A forum is about open communication among members. Offering to share information only by PM is, at the very least, not in the spirit of community, but more importantly gives the appearance that those communications involve something that is either in violation of forum rules or the law. When those posts are not in the open, we have no way to determine that this is not the case.
We would ask that posts either contribute to the thread openly, or that the posting of PM exchanges be discontinued.
one more thing to try - try unplugging the harness from the lockpick and letting the lockpick reset itself. plug the harness back in after 5-10 minutes.
Probably wont work, but a couple of the issues I have had with my setup is that I have made changes while the mygig has been connected and then have not been able to get things right. Ive disconnected the lockpick (harness from the lockpick, not harness from the radio), so that it resets itself to factory. Once I connect it all back up, issues have been resolved.
Again, just a thought and just trying to help you guys out! Fortunately, i dont have this problem otherwise I would be able to help you better.
We would ask that posts either contribute to the thread openly, or that the posting of PM exchanges be discontinued. Thank you-
Understood Linda. Like I said, Paul was getting on a plane and wanted me to post. I posted the explanation off my own back as there has been a little "controversy" on this issue and wanted to let people know that I dont personally think there is anything shady going on, just one man trying to help out people when he has been told not to by his source.
Anyway, im just the messenger so ill leave it for Paul to decide what he wants to do from here on out.

Just use video rca ouput on the mygig adapters multimedia harness and connect to your headrests.
