Yea, it's pretty funny. The best part is the estimate time of arrival now works on the nav as well, that and people who get in my car won't have to remind me that my clock isn't set

Thats exactly my problem! To be honest, the clock really doesnt bother me (only in the fact that im a perfectionist and everything has to be right), but, the reason i really NEED it fixed is im fed up explaining every time someone say "your clock isnt set"

Nah, my EVIC flashes on the UConnect. It only bugs me when I go through the menus. I try not to really pause on that screen. It works fine for me when I have a call though. It just won't show me battery and service on the EVIC, just the phone number which is fine by me.
So all in all here are the unresolved problems with a MYGIG install:

1- EVIC will no see a phone for the Uconnect in the menu and will flash.
2- EVIC seems to flash for some on Satellite.
3- UConnect buttons and mic are dead on the mirror unless you buy a newer mirrir with mic from Chrysler or get a mirror without the UConnect built in.

These aren't a big deal for me at all. A fix for the EVIC would be nice, though, since I unpluged the splitter to the SAT tuner to keep it from flashing, cuz passengers notice it and ask.

I bypassed the the splitter and it kep flashing for me? I really did not get a chance to mess with much it last weekend and this weekend I am going out of town, so hopefully when I come back I can mess with it.

Some of you will notice that this thread has been cleaned of posts that referenced a "fix" for the non-working clock problem, which could only be obtained by sending a member a PM.

I want to remind all members that duplicating and/or hacking and unlicensed distribution of a company's software is a violation of copyright laws. Because this is illegal, it is against our rules to discuss/promote those activities on the forum and our priority in these matters must be to protect the forum. It doesn't matter if someone is doing this for profit, for donations, or for free... it is still illegal as well as a violation of either our vendor rules or no solicitation rules in either case. It also doesn't matter if someone is only letting folks in on the details via private message then openly posting "PM sent" - The PM system is still part of the forum and we can't knowingly allow our forum to be used for illegal activities. By preventing these posts, we also protect our members from being unwittingly drawn into a situation they may not realize is illegal and may put them at risk.

All related posts have been deleted.
Any questions or comments can be addressed to me via PM - Please allow the thread to get back on track.

Thanks for understanding-

you can install the lockpick but you will need an external video source, so yes, youll either need a separate dvd player or you can hook up the oem VES unit for that purpose too.
