uconnnet address book transfer/download

GDay,
I was wondering whether anyone has been able to download their address book via bluetooth to uconnect?
I have a '08 CRD 300c (Australian) and a Blackberry 8100 Pearl and whilst the phone operates fine on the bluetooth, every time I transfer the address book the blackberry tells me "Transfer Successful" and Mygig/uconnect says "Entry contains invalid data".
I have also cleared my address book completely and just tried one contact with just one number and it still didn't work.

I have also connected my PC to the bluetooth and tried to send across a single vcf file...but get the same error.

Can anyone help?

Is your Blackberry synced to Microsoft Outlook or similar, or are the phone's phonebook entries created on the phone itself?

I have a Blackberry 8830 World Edition, synced with Outlook and had no problem transferring the phonebook. There is a slight delay depending on how large the phonebook is however.

Yeah its sync'ed with MS Outlook...
I even tried deleting them all and then creating a single one on the phone to no avail.

I believe he "successful transfer" is for phone numbers only. I just checked my system and there are no addresses associated with my phonebook numbers even though all that information is stored on my phone. All the names are there, but only indicate phone numbers, so you can't navigate to a name.

I think you may have to create addresses through MyGig and the transfer is strictly for phone numbers. Maybe someone else who's played around with this can chime in.

Thanks Bernie!
Yeah I am just hoping to get names and numbers across onto Mygig but so far with no success. I have been using the words address book instead of phone books
I am on Rez version 9.11, I will upgrade to 9.112 but cant see this helping me.
Stupid phonebook!

on my 8700C I have an option for address book transfer, this must be set to "all entries".
