Anyone ever 'relocate' the aux input?

I was thinking about getting a minijack cable, pulling my 06 300's radio apart, and soldering it onto where the minijack is internally, so that I can plug in my mp3 player somewhere OTHER than that jack right in the middle of the dash. What do you guys think? hehe.

You have a jack in the dash?? I have an '06 C as well, but no jack - so I am plugging into the DVD in the rear seat right now. Ugh.

Anyways, I did this on an Intrepid that I used to own and I do plan on doing it to my 300 when I get around to audio mods, but haven't really thought it out yet. I have toyed with the idea of putting it inside my center console, but not sure yet. Interested in seeing the responses.
