where is 2006 factory aux imput located in the car?

they talk about it in the manual but dont say where it is.

Yep, it doesn't exist. Bummer, eh? I've often wondered if/when Chrysler does make a head unit with the AUX in, would we be able to demand that they swap the units? I don't believe AUX in was listed on my window sticker.

It's kind of like that tire pressure monitoring system that never made it into the 05's. At least with that one you pretty much knew you weren't getting it because they listed it in the specs as "late availability" - meaning it wouldn't be on the initial models.

This is the 'official' word from Mopar -

"REF radios (base CD) will have an audio input jack as a running change. Once old REF stock is used up, the new REF will have the input jack that will allow folks to plug in their devices and play audio through the vehicle speakers. Controls will be limited to those on the device. Mopar is working on a unit that will stow the iPod in the glove box and provide operational control of the iPod through the radio controls. J1850 (old round face radio like in Minivan) will launch in the fourth quarter and Can Bus (Charger/Magnum/300/'05 Grand/Durango/'06 Ram) in the first quarter of '06".
